Mural · Ibiza
The Tree of the Happy Shadow.
A scene of gathering under the shade of two trees. Figures from different eras —Mediterranean traditions and contemporary presences— meet in a circle, creating an encounter outside of time.
The trees are the axis of the composition: living witnesses to the passing of centuries, silent observers of the conversations and human stories that have unfolded beneath their branches. The presence of animals reinforces the everyday nature of these gathering places.
In Ibiza, the mural also evokes the island's history as a meeting point between cultures —Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs and contemporary communities—, a scene suspended between history and present, a symbol of human continuity and collective memory.
