Luciano Chacón's visual production is defined by a constant dialogue between past and present, materialized through mixed media on stretcher. His work moves within neo-figurative territory, where graphite plays a leading role: not only as a drawing tool, but as a material that seeks texture, friction, and depth.
He builds his pieces through an almost artisanal process. The base of his works are old supports, recovered and restored fragments that bear the scars of time. On these surfaces that already lived a previous life, the artist intervenes to grant them a new existence.
